Angela Faust
As a wife, mother, and executive, I know what it means to try to fit everything into a day that doesn't quite have room. When I decided to pursue my doctorate, I was excited but I also knew that making time to create study materials and actually sit down to study was going to be a real challenge. I built ProPlan Scholar to make that part of the journey a little easier.
What started as a tool for my own doctoral work grew quickly. Family, colleagues, and friends across every stage of their education: undergraduates, graduate students, and career-changers heading back to school kept telling me they needed something similar. So ProPlan Scholar expanded to serve every collegiate stage, not just doctoral candidates.
My Mission
Improve study habits for students at every stage of life. I believe education isn't a chapter you close after graduation, it's a lifelong practice. The more we learn, the clearer our path becomes, and I never want to be complacent. Continuing my own education keeps my mind sharp and my worldview wide. Every student deserves tools that respect their time and treat them like the whole, busy person they are.
My Background
I'm an executive in the financial services industry, a proud UT Dallas alumna, and I hold an MBA and a PMP certification. I'll be the first to tell you I didn't come to this as an educator. I came to it as a student who was tired of shuffling between multiple syllabi, calendars, and sticky notes just to figure out when I was free. As a project manager, I live and die by my calendar. As a student, I needed one place that could hold everything.
Who I Built This For
ProPlan Scholar is for the student who's doing more than studying — who's balancing coursework with family, work, athletics, Greek life, or any of the dozen other things that make up a real life. You deserve a planner that understands that.
